Why the internet is so mad about Kim Kardashian’s new fragrance
Not everyone will be receiving a chocolate heart this Valentine’s Day.
Kim Kardashian announced in late January she’d be launching limited edition Kimoji Hearts fragrances just in time for Valentine’s Day.
The social media maven heavily promoted her newest product across Instagram and Snapchat by sending the fragrance-filled Valentines labeled “BFF,” “Bae” and “Ride or Die” to her famous friends (and even some foes).
“I just want to be extra clear that the press boxes of candy & the chocolate heart are not included with the perfume when ordering it online!” she wrote, but some questioned why she waited until after the product had already sold out to tweet that.
Others, however, were quick to defend the beauty mogul, stating that customers shouldn’t have expected so much at the $30 price point.
Chocolate or no chocolate, Kardashian reportedly still managed to make $10 million off the fragrances in just four days.
